Albany Medical Center (http://www.amc.edu) is looking to fill two positions in our expanding web services department. The first one is a senior-level position and the second is closer to entry-level. Descriptions are: 

Systems Analyst - Web
This position involves managing, executing, and sustaining a variety of web-based projects, including but not limited to web-based application development and deployment, website development utilizing an content management & publishing system, and deployment/support of various enterprise-level web-based software packages. Ideal candidates will possess strong analytical, project management, and customer relationship skills. The position requires a thorough understanding of today's web technology landscape, with proficiencies in both scripting and compiled programming languages, xml and related technologies (SOAP, XSLT, etc), various client-side delivery mechanisms such as XHTML, AJAX, and Flash/Flex, and one major RDBMS package. ColdFusion and MSSQL experience is preferred. Candidates should possess a 4yr (bachelor's or equivalent) degree, preferably with a CS or IS major. 5-7 years work experience required.

Programmer Analyst - Web
The selected candidate will provide support for both administrative back end systems and web systems. A two year college degree in computer science or related information systems field and 1 - 3 years of experience supporting Web site implementation initiatives is required. The candidate should have experience with databases and database query languages, ColdFusion, HTML, Javascript, Flash, CSS, SQL and Stored Procedures. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are a must. The candidate should exhibit the ability to work under general direction, analyze business requirements, independently prioritize work, and respond flexibly to a variety of support requests.
